Winifred Dixon
Raymond (Bob) Dixon (1902-1962) was an orphan taken in by Winifred Randall.
Bob later married Dora, who worked in the hotel. Their charming little daughter, named after Winifred Randall, is the subject of many family photos.
People used to say Winifred Randall took in strays, and Bob Dixon was one of them.
Winifred helped Bob pursue his interest in art by sending him to school, but art was never more than a hobby for Bob. Winifred didn't seem to mind that he continued to depend on her generosity... even into the afterlife. His final resting place is in the Randall family plot.
